sampo. (the "Service") is a web service for creating and sharing maps. Please use the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirement
- The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over.
- Users under 13 may not use the Service.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Posting content that violates laws or public order and morals
- Posting content that infringes the copyright, portrait rights, or privacy of others
- Unauthorized access to the Service or placing excessive load on it
- Mass posting for spam or advertising purposes
- Any other conduct the operator deems inappropriate
4. Rights to Content
- Copyright in content posted by users belongs to the users themselves.
- Users grant the Service a license to use their content to the extent necessary to display and distribute it.
5. Content Visibility
Maps have three visibility settings: public, unlisted, and private.
- Public: viewable by anyone with the URL. Public maps appear in listings within the Service (such as the discovery page), may be indexed by search engines, and may be copied by other users as a base for new maps.
- Unlisted: viewable only by people who know the URL. Not shown in listings.
- Private: viewable only by the creator.
- Information posted as public or unlisted (titles, spot names, comments, photos, location data, profile, etc.) should be limited to what you are comfortable having viewed by third parties.
6. Changes to and Suspension of the Service
- The operator may change or suspend the Service without prior notice.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from suspension of the Service.
- Data persistence depends on the continuation of the Service. Please back up important data yourself.
7. Disclaimer
- The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of operation.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service.
- The operator does not guarantee the accuracy of map information.
8. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be changed without notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
