Episode 4's Shizuoka oden. *Now closed (another restaurant is there now). This is where Goro-san discovered the comforting flavors of Shizuoka, like black hanpen (fish cake) and beef tendon.

Episode 5. A diner attached to a fishing pond in Wadabori Park. Order the oyako-don (chicken and egg bowl) and yaki-udon. A nostalgic corner where the retro Showa era still lives on.

Episode 6's garlic pork loin. *Closed in February 2025. This was a legendary tonkatsu shop where the mouthwatering aroma of garlic drove Goro-san wild.

Episode 7. A retro cafe founded in 1975. Try the "Wakuwaku Set" (Excitement Set) which pairs their famous Napolitan pasta with a hamburger steak. Great for a daytime drink, too!
