Episode 3. A famous spot for soupless dandan noodles. Packed with numbing Sichuan pepper, this spicy bowl had Goro sweating! Don't miss out on their crispy winged gyoza dumplings, either.

Episode 4: Shizuoka oden. *Now closed (another restaurant operates here now). Famous for black hanpen fish cakes and beef tendon, this was where Goro fell in love with the tastes of Shizuoka.

Episode 5. A diner attached to the fishing pond in Wadabori Park. Try the oyakodon (chicken and egg over rice) and yaki-udon. A nostalgic little corner where the retro Showa atmosphere is still alive.

Episode 6: Pork loin garlic roast. *Closed in February 2025. A renowned tonkatsu shop where the mouthwatering aroma of garlic blew Goro away.

Episode 7. A retro cafe founded in 1975. The fun combo set pairing their signature Napolitan spaghetti with a hamburg steak is pure joy. Great for a daytime drink, too.

Episode 8. A holy land for solo yakiniku. Kalbi short ribs, skirt steak, and jingisukan (grilled mutton). Watching Goro face the smoke all by himself hits right in the soul.
