Haikyu!! Pilgrimage Map: Karasuno Inspirations, Sendai & Tokyo
Here's a curated map of real-life spots from Haikyu!! In the author's hometown of Karumai, Iwate Prefecture, you'll find the school building that inspired Karasuno High, as well as the real shops behind Sakanoshita Store and Shimada Mart. Over in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, there are four special monuments honoring the characters as Sendai Tourism Ambassadors. Finally, head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, the iconic venue for the Spring Tournament. Since the schools and shops are part of locals' everyday lives, please be quiet and respectful when viewing them from the outside.
